Mumford and Sons. NBT?

Mumford And Sons were formed in September of 2007 as a folk/bluegrass/twee pop band from London. They are a relatively new band, but have already supported the likes of Laura Marling and won praise from many who have seen them play live. Their sound is similar to that of Noah & The Whale, but less definitive and more raw sounding. They were deservedly The Guardian's Band of The Day for their mix of folk with twee pop and chaotic bluegrass finishes, with catchy Fleet Foxes style riffs and a coarse, honest sounding vocal from Marcus Mumford. The band has been widely tipped to be a breakthrough act of 2009, since an album is due sometime this year and we are as of yet restricted to two EPs. The track here 'Roll Away Your Stone' is taken from the first EP 'Lend Me Your Eyes' and was Radio 2's single of the week in November. You can stream their other tracks from their Myspace.
